Know Me Beyond Words

A virtual exhibition emerging from the sanctuary spaces of asylum seekers in Kosovo, offering an unfiltered view into the emotional landscape of a refugee camp.

After three years of working closely within the camp, Malisa Zymberi felt a responsibility to create a channel through which the world could witness its inner reality. The exhibition grew out of the art therapy work carried out with residents during those three years. Every piece on display was created in these sessions and forms part of a personal story, showing how art helped people process trauma, cope with uncertainty and begin to heal. Through their work, personal testimony becomes a powerful visual presence.

The exhibition was funded by KRCT and created in collaboration with Trembelat Studio.
